The area from above Clearwater to Ochlockonee Bay is by proclamation of the Governor of Florida "Florida's Nature Coast". An area that is close to major cities yet far enough away to enjoy a more relaxed life style.
The above, coupled with the fact that you have a full spectrum of lifestyle choices within these two counties make it worth your consideration to locate here. You can live in the urban sprawl, the secluded country setting, or a number of historic districts. You can shop in the neighborhood centers, at quaint specialty stores, or travel to nearby Tampa Bay Cities for national/ international retail malls. You can travel to major attractions by car or be at an international airport in one hour. This area has it all including recognition from the U.S. Regional Economic Growth Council indicating that some areas within these counties lead in fastest growing projections.
